Packing a bag will ease the stress of the day and eliminate you walking around in your race clothes.

Here are the top things to have with you for running a 5k race:

A camera or phone that takes photos. This may be the obvious one for everyone. Don’t miss those race smiles at the end!


Some people run with a small towel, I’d suggest bringing an extra one for yourself to clean up after running a 5K Race. Using baby wipes to freshen up can come in handy, consider this your quick fix to no shower.

Remember you probably won’t have the opportunity to shower so grabbing your deodorant and some perfume or body spray.

It is a good idea to have a bag for your dirty clothes and an additional bag for your shoes.
