I know it’s hard to comprehend that liver is the real superfood, especially after being taught since a young age that fruits and vegetables are superfoods and we need to eat less fatty meats.
The reality is, even though liver is the real superfood and amazing for you, most people including myself dislike the taste of liver no matter how it’s prepared.
As more and more research comes out, we’re learning that a plant-based diet and the food pyramid were the biggest mistakes in American history.
Vegans Are Giving Up Their Diet for Carnivore To Get Well
Many vegans are giving up the diet in large numbers due to suffering from poor health, both mentally and physically and coming back to a ketogenic or carnivore diet and they are seeing rapid improvements in their health!
I was vegan for almost 3 years, that diet made me extremely sick, depressed, and weak….I thought I was dying and had several lab tests run. The fiber and oxalates in the diet wore holes in my gut wall and I was pooping blood for a very long time.

I have struggled with mineral deficiencies for ages due to a destroyed gut wall lining from being over-prescribed antibiotics dozens of times as a child.
Combine this with going from standard American diet of 40 years to vegan for 3 years which was devoid of proper absorbable minerals and lacking the appropriate human nutrition.
The fiber continually scrubbed my inners until I was pooping blood. This caused numerous auto-immune and health issues including anxiety.
I went Keto over a year ago which was awesome and quite helpful and generally addresses the root cause of most diet-related disease.
More recently, I was challenged by some doctors to try carnivore to eliminate all-fiber, lectins, oxalates and phytates to give my gut and body a rest to heal up. I’m feeling better every day and I haven’t pooped blood or mucous in months.
Do you like liver? I do not! It makes me gag. I prep raw liver by cutting it up into tiny cubes and freeze them so I can just swallow them like a pill with a big drink of ketones to mask the taste of liver.
However, there is no denying that liver has improved both my physical and mental health significantly…. and I likely don’t consume more than 1 ounce a day because I don’t like it!
